Women Kitchen Table Entrepreneurs

Kitchen table entrepreneurs. This term refers to people who start businesses or come up with the ideas to make money supposedly at their kitchen table but over the years it has become much more than that. Most people who are considered Kitchen table entrepreneurs don't just start their businesses at the kitchen table any more but at the computer.

This new wave of "Kitchen Table Entrepreneurs" have a desire to create a better life for themselves by being in control of their financial situation. Most people who get into this adventure start the money making endeavor as a part-time business, hoping to make a little money to afford the extra's in life. Maybe they want to go on a nicer vacation or save for a special item such as a large screen tv or something similar.

But in some cases people start these money making endeavors not for extras but just to pay bills or buy groceries. No matter what the reason, there are plenty of good opportunities out there and the list keeps growing.

Another thing about these opportunities is they can be started on a shoestring budget, meaning it does not take a lot of money to get started some can be started under a hundred dollars.

One thing you must do when you are considering your own money making adventure is to do research. The second thing is to research your research. After this look for stories of real people who have reached some level of success in the program or business you want to try and when possible find mentors.

Keep yourself encouraged by reading as much as possible about other success stories. Learn from your mistakes and the mistakes of others. Always try to look at a failed attempt as a way to improve the product. Sign up for newsletters that teach you about skills and resources that help you to start a business. There are a lot of resources to keep you motivated on your journey, just start, walking towards your goal, even if its only baby steps.

One of my favorite quotes is by Thomas A. Edison “I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.”

“You must make a decision that you are going to move on. It wont happen automatically. You will have to rise up and say, ‘I don’t care how hard this is, I don’t care how disappointed I am, I’m not going to let this get the best of me. I’m moving on with my life.”
